exhibition a great success!

The exhibition was seen by many people in its week at the discovery centre, and was said by Artlandish staff to be a "good exhibit for the gallery". We crammed in the paintings into fairly limited space and have a book of comments such as "lovely work" and "real talent shown". All the young painters can be very proud of themselves, and with high standards in the schools, so can all the staff.

We would like to thank the people who came and helped put up the paintings, including Les Porter and Jim Conner - they helped Rotary members tremendously, and thanks too to the Gallery staff for their friendly assistance.

Also we were pleased to see some of the painters and their families visit as we hung the art - hope to see you at the presentation!
